Join us for a special evening with Emmy Award-winning director, producer, and filmmaker Katherine Brooks.

Friday, June 12th - Doors open at 7pm at The Loft at Ethereal - 140 Cass Street

Brooks is best known for her work on The Real World, The Osbournes, The Simple Life, and My 600-lb Life. She is also the writer and director of the beloved LGBTQ+ film Loving Annabelle and the documentary Face 2 Face.

The evening will feature screenings of selected works followed by a candid conversation about storytelling, connection, community, and choosing a meaningful life rooted in authenticity.

Raised among the forests and bayous of rural Louisiana, Brooks’ lifelong connection to nature and healing eventually led her around the world studying traditional wellness practices. She and her wife, a holistic veterinarian, later settled in Woodstock, where Brooks founded Bayou Girl Apothecary — a small-batch herbal and mushroom apothecary focused on sustainability, wildcrafted remedies, and community healing.

This evening’s discussion will explore Brooks’ creative journey, the importance of human connection, why community matters more than ever, and what led her and her family to call Woodstock home.

This program is intended for mature audiences only. Attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
Donations accepted at the door.
A popcorn bar will be available, with drinks available for purchase downstairs.
